Trip Description:
Another perfect day spent with my Grandson in a state recreation area, Two Rivers SRA. A different twist on take em fishing, I decided to take em frogging. Two Rivers is a great place for this activity. We spent three hours sneaking along the shoreline and offering irresistible mock flies in front of “ginormous” bullfrogs with voracious appetites. Jackson was not ready to go home, “just one more grandpa”. Great day developing our froggin skills and learning about nature as we observed the herons and kingfishers also catching frogs. Culminated by sharing stories of the outing while enjoying a burger and fries. Best part of the day was hearing him say, “can we go again Grandpa”.
