Trip Description:
Cassidy and I took the Bloomfield Cub Scout Pack on a hiking/camping/fishing trip along the Verdigris Creek. We camped and fished by a farm pond with worms and bobbers, a few of the boys and siblings had fished before but many had not. Most of them reeled in some tiny bluegill, but the catch of the night from the kids’ point of view was big old common carp. One of the littlest guys there reeled it in, and one of the girls gave it a kiss.
